Interpretative Governance & Analytical Boundaries

This page defines the permanent analytical envelope for all Atacton Regime editions. It has maintained architectural consistency since 2007 and governs every historical and future delivery. These format categories apply to all editions regardless of geography, confederation, or domestic calendar structure.

Permanent static commitment
This governance boundary has maintained architectural consistency since 2007. All historical and future Atacton Regime editions’ Intended Scope shall be governed by this online source as the authoritative reference.

Domestic league-format phase

The analytical envelope covers only the primary continuous league-format phase of the competition named on the cover, within the season record stated on the cover. The span begins with the first scheduled league-format round and ends with the last such round prior to any structurally discontinuous post-league phase.

Promotion or relegation play-offs, championship rounds, split-schedule modules used solely for title or relegation resolution, and any comparable post-league transitions lie outside this edition’s governing envelope and are not carried into league-format interpretation.

Domestic cup

The domestic cup named on the cover is interpreted as one continuous tournament envelope from the opening qualification or elimination stage through the final on that competition’s official calendar. Early rounds and later knockout stages are treated as one continuous tournament-format regime unless the edition record states otherwise.

Intercontinental / confederation club cup

The continental or intercontinental club competition named on the cover is interpreted as one continuous tournament envelope from opening qualification through the final on its official calendar (including group or knockout phases where the format uses them). Phases on the same official calendar are treated as one continuous tournament-format regime unless the edition record excludes them.

National-team / representative tournament

The national-team or representative competition named on the cover is interpreted with respect to the final tournament phase on its official calendar only. Qualification cycles, regional preliminaries, and multi-year qualification structures lie outside this edition’s envelope unless the edition record identifies them. The final-phase tournament is one continuous envelope from opening match through final on that calendar.

Split-season and multi-phase competitions

For competitions that publish a single official season record but operate distinct spring and autumn phases (or equivalent), the edition record shall state the governing envelope explicitly. Absent such statement, only the primary continuous league-format phase matching the cover season is carried into interpretation.

Interpretative governance

Only the edition record matching the competition named on the cover governs metrics, regime definitions, and written interpretation in that PDF. Disjoint competitions, calendars, or phases outside that envelope possess no interpretative authority over the governing regime definitions of this edition.

No inference of operational thresholds, execution logic, timing logic, or portable rules may be drawn from prose, layout, category order, or interpretive phrasing in any Atacton Regime document.

Governed edition structure

Full institutional editions follow a unified 38-page Edition Bundle structure. Key governance pages include:

  • Page 3 — Recipient Undertaking & Layout Governance
  • Page 4 — Intended Scope (with non-enumeration clause)
  • Page 7 — Read Map (governing posture anchor for that edition)
  • Page 25 — Alternative Reading Frame (Optional Lens)

Surface wording is salted; parallel wording across deliveries is not offered as a consistency guarantee. Flow-axis and Risk-axis are available as co-listed interpretive spines; neither replaces the primary pacing envelope read.

This page is the single authoritative source for multi-format analytical boundaries. All Atacton Regime editions (2007–present) are governed by the definitions above.
